Counseling session is provided to the students who are stressed for admission in Delhi University, especially for girls. The Women Association has arranged homeopathy and naturopathy counselors to beat stress.
Helping hands are lended to the stressed students and staffs who ate conducting the admission process. By paying to the varsity North Campus student can meet counselor. The counselor will guide and find the state of mind of the student.
Said by a counselor – Astha Jain : “We are currently offering counseling to girls who are seeking admission in Delhi University and are under pressure to get into a good college. We are expecting to get more students once the first cut-off for DU is released because that is when most of the students will get to know if they can make it into their dream college or not. Last year, too, many students visited us after the cut-offs were out,”.
Further she added – “The counseling mainly starts with a session where we try to understand the girl’s problem by talking to her in detail. If we think that she needs to attend more sessions, we ask her to visit again. If we think that she would feel better with naturopathy, we recommend her to take a session.
Some who are depressed or have serious issues can contact the homeopath,”.
Ms. Jain told “During the non-admission seasons, many girls visit us with issues like relationship issues, peer problems, some feel home-sick after coming to Delhi and are not able to adjust with the new life here,”.
With a nominal fee of rs.50 registration for counseling can be taken and will be valid for complete year. The registered students can go for yoga classes too. The counseling session will be conducted from 11 am to 6 pm during weekdays (Sunday off).
