Delhi University started the admission today in sports and fitness trial quota. Started at the university Poland ground on the 18th of June 9 am it will be carried forward till 20th June.
The students who are expert in sports can apply under sports quota and for this all colleges are instructed to put detail for available seats under the same quota. The available position and sports detail is also required to be mentioned in the notice board or displayed in the website.
3 fitness tests will be constructed by the DU that will demonstrate the endurance, strength and speed.
Standing Broad Jump, 1,000 meters race and the 50 meter dash race are included. Chess, archery and shooting are chief games, of which at least one is required to be cleared next three tests, are cricket, football and basketball were at least two needs to be cleared
Starting from 23rd of June 50 marks tests will be conducted of which 18 mark is the minimum qualification number. Fitness, skill test, fundamentals of the sport, game performance test and many more like these will be marked as a game specific for judgment.
Offline registration with self- attested certificates copy will be made required with a 100 rs. Stamp paper. Further, it needs to be announced that the particular student plays for specific University during UG study.
The candidate who played / represented India at international level need not to pass trial and can take admission in the college they want. These competitions of sports include- Olympic, Commonwealth, Paralympics Asian Games. World and Asian Championships is also included.
