A grand opening to the offline registration and OMR forms, were made for the Delhi University admission. A total of 21,813 number forms were sold on Friday, the first day from the eight colleges of DU.
Total number of 141590 students had made offline registration and 235728 as online by deposition of Fee – said by the Malay Neerav “Join Dean Students welfare”.
With the commencement of online registration this year the opening is decreased by 10647 students in the first day. The great start to opening of online registration explains that the online registration is successful.
With a reduction to the number of college centers as eight the sale of offline registration form and OMR forms has reduced this year. None of the North campus was introduced in first day and all 8 colleges were from the South campus.
Khalsa College sold the highest number of OMR forms as 5611 were as rest 7 colleges made a 5111 OMR admission forms were sold on the first day from all the colleges.
Starting from 5th of June to 15th the offline forms will be accepted by the colleges of DU. June 15 will be the last date of submission for registration via offline forms. Students who apply for admission with extra Curricular activities quota or sports quota via offline will be accepted by the colleges.
The first cut off list will be announced on June 25 and will be carried with 6 more lists. Further lists will be provided declaring the vacant seats for admission (if any).
